Accepting these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Linger, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Using Linger
You may use Linger for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the app or its question library except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Conversation is personal
Linger’s prompts may invite meaningful or sensitive discussion. You choose whether to ask or answer any question. Respect consent, privacy, and boundaries. Linger is not medical, mental-health, legal, or professional advice, and it is not an emergency service.
Purchases and content packs
Linger Complete is offered as a one-time purchase that unlocks the conversation modes identified at the time of purchase. Optional content packs are separate purchases unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary by country or app store. Billing, refunds, and restoration are governed by the applicable store’s rules.
Your content
You retain ownership of notes and photos you create. You are responsible for having the right to capture, keep, and share them. Because this content is stored locally, removing the app or losing your device may remove it unless your device backup preserves it.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep Linger reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Content packs and compatibility may change as devices and operating systems evolve.
Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linger is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
